Fundraiser concert - Ekipa Świętego Mikołaja

The fundraising concert took place a few days ago and I helped with some aspects during the concert itself, by selling tickets and helping with technical issues.

Letter Writing Maraton - Amnesty International

Me and my friend were responsible for preparing posters, advertising the Letter Writing Marathon carried out by our school Amnesty International Group. By working together we prepared and printed the posters before the marathon started.

Fundraiser Concert - Ekipa Świętego Mikołaja

This week I have been selling tickets for a fundraising event organized by Ekipa Świętego Mikołaja. The profits from ticket sales were used to buy christmas presents for children in need.

Amnesty International

We had our first Amnesty International meeting today, we shared our ideas for the future and divided our future roles in this group. The next meeting will probably take place next week and we will continue to plan our work in this organisation.

English Lessons

I went over to my friends house twice to give her English lessons, She has problems with past and future tenses and I helped her with some exercises.

I have been taking care of the facebook page Amnesty International Raszyńska, posting content from time to time.

Letter Writing Marathon

The final preparations for Amnesty Internationals event have taken place (hanging extra posters, preparing the classrooms). I genuinely hope that it will be a success! 

Amnesty International Posters

Last week I stayed at school after lesson to make posters for the Amnesty International Letter Writing Marathon. We tried to make posters, which will be creative and engage people who see them hanging on the corridor.

Amnesty International

Yesterday, after lessons Amnesty International had its first meeting after the summer vacation. We greeted the new members and discussed our plans for the future. We talked about how we are going to organise this years Letter Writing Marathon and other happenings. I volunteered to manage Amnesty's facebook page and to help with the promotion of our events. I am looking forward to our future activities.

For service I shall dedicate my time to helping others- like a proper IB student should!
